Legal Operations Analyst

About the Role
As a Legal Operations Analyst you will be a part of the Commercial Legal team, reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, Contracts. The primary function of this role is to support the Commercial Legal team by performing contract data review and extraction into the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, Ironclad. The role will also involve maintaining data integrity within the CLM system, generating reports, updating contract metadata, and assisting with ad hoc projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities: - - - - - - Contract Data Review and Extraction: Review and extract key data from contracts and input it into the CLM system (Ironclad). Data Integrity Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within the CLM system. CLM System Operation: Learn and operate the CLM system, including creating and managing workflows. Reporting: Pull and generate reports from the CLM system to support the Commercial Legal team, as well as other business stakeholders. Metadata Updates: Update and maintain contract metadata within the CLM system. Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with various ad hoc projects as needed, including data analysis, preparation of executive dashboards, and other tasks to support the Legal Operations team. Basic Qualifications: - - - - - - - Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. Technical Skills: Familiarity with contracts (contractual relationships, format, basic legal concepts). Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for both contract analysis and ensuring data cleanliness. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data sets and identify discrepancies or patterns. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with the Commercial Legal team and other internal stakeholders. Professionalism: Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity. Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to changing priorities, and take initiative where appropriate. Preferred Qualifications: - - - - - - Experience with CLM Systems: Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, particularly Ironclad. Data Management: Experience in data management, database administration, and data integrity assurance. Contract Management: Experience in reviewing, analyzing, or managing contracts. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management software and CRM or ERP systems (especially Salesforce). Project Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and to work cross-functionally. Legal Technology: Interest in and basic understanding of legal technology and legal operations.
