Legal Director - Contracts

As a Director - Contracts at BDO India, you will play a crucial role in managing the full lifecycle of various commercial contracts, overseeing process excellence, and leading a team to meet the complex and evolving business needs of the firm. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including SAAS contracts, End User License Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and more. - Create and maintain standard contract templates and draft contracts from scratch. - Conduct research on relevant legal matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws. - Manage internal stakeholder requirements related to contracts and negotiate with clients, vendors, and third parties. - Build and train a team, collaborate with junior resources, and create SOPs for contract review. - Provide guidance on data protection legislation, insurance requirements, and integrate AI tools for contract management. Key Requirements: - LLB is mandatory; CS, LLM is preferred. - 15-20 years of PQE with an LLB degree, specialized contract law experience/courses are advantageous. - Strong leadership skills with experience in team management. - Detail-oriented with high analytical thinking and proficiency in English. - Strategic thinking abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and strong organizational skills.,
