Legal Contracts (Payments) - Deputy General Manager

As a Legal Manager at our organization, your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing various legal documents such as Banking Alliances, Corporate PSAs, promotional agreements, Escrow agreements, Marketing agreements, and more. Your role will involve ensuring minimal to no risk to the organization by addressing contractual issues with clients, partners, service providers, and vendors. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including compliance, product, finance, and business teams, will be essential for the successful implementation of special projects across all business verticals within specified timelines. Your ability to understand and analyze business requirements, identify issues, and propose effective solutions will be crucial. You will be expected to manage legal aspects of assigned business transactions, provide general corporate advisory, and support senior colleagues in researching and assessing the viability of proposed business models under relevant laws such as ecommerce and FEMA. Additionally, you will need to analyze business processes, identify risks in legal agreements, and ensure compliance with IT, e-commerce, and privacy laws. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 12+ years of experience in end-to-end contract management, preferably in a Fintech, Banking, or NBFC Company. Strong legal acumen, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in MS Word/MS Office, previous experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel, and a law graduate degree from a reputed institute are preferred qualifications.
