• Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, discovery materials, and correspondence.
• Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, track deadlines, file documents with courts, and assist with case preparation.
• Research: Conduct basic legal research, gather case-related information, and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to obtain information, schedule meetings, and provide updates, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule court hearings and appointments, answer phone calls, organize emails, and handle billing or time-entry tasks.
• Court Filings: Prepare and e-file legal documents in state and federal courts in compliance with rules and deadlines.
• Discovery Support: Assist in the preparation, indexing, and production of discovery materials.
• Record keeping: Maintain databases, track case developments, and manage document storage systems.
