Job Description

As a Paralegal specializing in real estate law, you will play a crucial role in property transactions, zoning regulations, and contract negotiation. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing employment contracts, stock option plans, and company legal documents. - Assisting in royalty collection and other collectibles from Franchise Disclosure and Franchise Agreements. - Reviewing and updating Franchise Disclosure Documents yearly. - Reviewing and approving tile commitments. - Assisting in real estate contract review and drafting for land buy/sell, tenant leases, special provisions, and easements. - Collecting feasibility hard monies prior to closing. - Assisting in bank loan term negotiations and providing legal counsel. Qualifications required for this position are: - A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, with at least 2 years in a law firm handling real estate matters, including title and survey analysis. - Paralegal certification. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. - Excellent time management skills with extreme attention to detail. - Self-starter with the ability to interact successfully with diverse personalities. - Ability to manage various deadlines within a short timeframe.
