Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Koch Bihar, allowing for a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Territory Manager will be responsible for engaging with rural communities to establish and strengthen community organizations, facilitating rural enterprise development, conducting training and capacity-building initiatives, and building partnerships with stakeholders including local government and private organizations. The role includes analyzing community needs, identifying resources, and implementing solutions that promote sustainable living and economic empowerment within the communities. Qualifications Proficiency in community engagement, facilitation, and relationship-building with rural communities and stakeholders. Skills in project management, planning, and implementation to oversee rural enterprise development and related initiatives. Experience in training and capacity-building programs, including skills development, resource management, and business structuring. Knowledge of partnership development and networking with local governments, NGOs, corporations, and other stakeholders for community support. Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate the needs of communities and design effective solutions. Effective communication, both verbal and written, in English and regional languages is highly desirable. Understanding of rural development approaches, sustainable enterprise models, and familiarity with sectors such as agriculture, handicrafts, and IT is advantageous. A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
