Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Compliance
Advise on corporate and commercial transactions (e.g., supply agreements, third-party contracts)
Ensure compliance with Indian laws, including excise, goods and services, environmental, and licensing regulations
Maintain liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies (Excise Department, FSSAI, etc.)similar to the outlined duties at Bacchus Enterprises in Delhi
Drafting & Documentation
Draft and review agreements, MOUs, NDAs, vendor contracts, and legal correspondence
Litigation & Dispute Management
Handle litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution; manage risks and develop defense strategies
Represent the company in court or coordinate with external advocates.
Travel & Representation
Travel as needed to hearings or meetings across Punjab—or India—up to 50% of the time
General Legal Support
Provide legal oversight across departments (HR, procurement, marketing) as needed
Engage and manage external counsel, tracking litigation costs and strategy—consistent with FMCG industry practices
