Lecturer / Assistant Professor – German ( Language)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in German Language, located in Mohali, Punjab. The candidate will be responsible for teaching German language courses, preparing and delivering lectures, creating course materials, and evaluating students' performance. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, engaging in academic research, and contributing to curriculum development. The role also involves participating in departmental meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in German Language and Literature
• Experience in teaching and developing course materials
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to engage students in active learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Research experience and a record of academic publications are highly desirable
• Doctorate or equivalent degree in German Studies or a related field
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Prior experience in higher education institutions is a plus
