Learning Support Teacher (Early Years & PYP)

As a Learning Support Teacher at Naavu School, your role will involve providing targeted academic and emotional support to students in the Early Years and Primary Years Programme. You will collaborate closely with homeroom teachers and families to ensure inclusive, differentiated learning in alignment with the IB philosophy. Key Responsibilities: - Identify learning needs and provide both pull-out and integrated intervention for students. - Collaborate with homeroom and subject teachers to modify and differentiate instruction based on students" requirements. - Support students with diverse learning profiles to help them access the curriculum effectively. - Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students and monitor their progress regularly. - Engage with parents to effectively communicate learning goals, strategies, and student growth. - Contribute to fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture at Naavu School. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Certification in Learning Support/SEN preferred). - Minimum of 3 years of experience in inclusive or special education settings (Experience with IB or international curriculum is advantageous). - Strong knowledge of early childhood and primary age developmental milestones and needs. - Proficiency in implementing intervention strategies and effectively tracking student growth and development. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
