Job Description

As a Learning and Development Consultant with a background in E-learning, your primary responsibility will be to lead the L&D strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business plan. You will collaborate with HR and business leadership to plan L&D initiatives and training programs. Your role will involve ideating, developing, and implementing a world-class E-Learning system. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing the overall training budget, tracking roadmap and budget spend versus the plan, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. You will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for improvement in learning design and delivery. By translating need assessment into a robust training plan and calendar for both direct and indirect staff, you will ensure that skills gaps are addressed to meet the overall business objectives. Furthermore, you will oversee the design and development of learning content, including training materials and e-Learning courses, while fostering partnerships with external academies and institutions for program design and development. To excel in this role, you must hold an MBA or Masters degree with specialization in HR from Tier 1 institutes, or a B.E/B.Tech from Top Engineering colleges coupled with an MBA/Masters from Tier 2 institutes. A minimum of 8+ years of overall experience across HR, with at least 6 years in a relevant industry and domain, is required. Your expertise should encompass a good understanding of new trends in L&D for software companies, contemporary learning methodologies, training & development, performance gap analysis, change/knowledge management, and training evaluation frameworks. In addition to your technical/domain knowledge, you must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with essential behavioral competencies such as decision-making, people management, negotiation, leadership, persuading, and team-building skills.
