Job Title: Performance Tester

Location: [Gurugram, India]

Experience: 6-8 years

Job Summary:

Performance Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with

  business analysts, operations teams, and product owners

  to gather, define, and document non-functional performance requirements.
• Design performance test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on system architecture and business use cases.
• Conduct end-to-end performance testing using

  Performance Center (LoadRunner)

  and

  Apache JMeter

  .
• Analyze test results and monitor system behavior to identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues.
• Work closely with

  development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams

  to identify root causes and communicate issues in a clear, technical manner.
• Provide performance test reports with detailed analysis and recommendations for optimization.
• Support continuous performance improvement efforts and contribute to performance benchmarking.
• Develop reusable test scripts and contribute to performance test automation initiatives.
• Participate in performance test reviews, defect triaging, and improvement discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in

  performance testing and engineering

  .
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Performance Center (LoadRunner)

  and

  Apache JMeter

  .
• Excellent understanding of

  performance testing types

  : load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
• Ability to translate business performance needs into

  technical test scenarios and metrics

  .
• Proficiency in performance monitoring tools and log analysis.
• Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and database-level testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in

  Agile

  and

  DevOps

  environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

  for integrating performance tests.
• Knowledge of

  APM tools

  like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
