Lead UX/UI Designer

As a Senior / Lead UX/UI Designer at Accurate Background, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products and advancing our mission of providing visibility and insights in background screening. Your focus will be on designing end-to-end experiences, conducting user research, establishing UX standards, and mentoring a junior designer. **Responsibilities:** - **Own end-to-end design:** Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create clear, intuitive experiences for both enterprise clients and consumer users. - **Champion user research:** Conduct interviews, build prototypes, and perform usability testing to ensure designs are grounded in customer insights. - **Establish standards:** Develop and maintain a design system, define best practices, and create reusable patterns to drive consistency across teams. - **Shape process:** Integrate UX into the product development lifecycle by moving from reactive screen design to proactive, strategic design involvement. - **Lead and mentor:** Provide guidance to a junior UX/UI designer, facilitating their growth and skill development. **Requirements:** - 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for enterprise products. - Proven track record of building design systems and setting UX/UI standards. - Ability to deliver data-informed web and mobile experiences that balance user needs and business goals. - Experience working independently in complex organizations with a bias for action. - Strong communication skills to articulate the design rationale to cross-functional leaders. - Proficiency in modern design and collaboration tools. - Prior experience in managing designers is preferred. - Familiarity with AI-based design tools is a plus.
