Lead UX/UI Designer

As a Senior / Lead UX/UI Designer at Accurate Background, you will bring human-centered design principles to the forefront of our product development process. This role will involve a combination of hands-on design work and strategic thinking. **Responsibilities:** - **Own end-to-end design:** Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create clear and intuitive experiences for our client portal (enterprise customers) and candidate portal (consumer users). - **Champion user research:** Conduct interviews, build prototypes, and perform usability testing to ensure designs are grounded in customer insights and data. - **Establish standards:** Develop and maintain a design system, define best practices, and create reusable patterns that can scale across teams. - **Shape process:** Partner with Product and Engineering teams to integrate UX into the product development lifecycle, moving from reactive screen design to proactive, strategic involvement. - **Lead and mentor:** Provide guidance to a junior UX/UI designer, fostering their growth while exemplifying best practices. **Requirements:** - 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise products. - Experience in building design systems and setting UX/UI standards. - Ability to deliver data-informed web and mobile experiences that balance user needs and business goals. - Proficiency in modern design and collaboration tools. - Prior experience managing designers is preferred. - Experience with AI-based design tools is a plus. **Why Join Accurate Background:** - **Impact at scale:** Your work will impact both enterprise customers and millions of candidates in the hiring process. - **Build from the ground up:** Opportunity to define and shape the UX/UI function within an established, global business. - **Growth & mentorship:** Lead and mentor a designer, with potential for expanding your scope as the UX function grows.
