Job Description

As a Travel Program Manager at UKG, your work will have a significant impact on the organization. You will serve as a crucial point of contact for all travel-related matters, both internally and externally. This role involves providing guidance to employees of all levels on travel policies, booking tools, and best practices to ensure seamless travel experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Being a reliable resource for travelers, offering exceptional support and quickly resolving any inquiries or issues that may arise. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with regional travel suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, SLAs, and contract terms to ensure value and compliance. - Managing sourcing initiatives and conducting small to mid-size RFP events. - Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring contractual terms are met to optimize travel operations. - Maintaining and optimizing content within the online booking tool (OBT) to align with travel and expense policies. - Providing user training and facilitating the smooth adoption of travel technologies within the organization. - Producing and maintaining monthly and quarterly travel dashboards for executive leadership review to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve traveler behavior. To excel in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 7+ years of experience in corporate travel operations, TMC servicing, or travel category support. - Demonstrated proficiency in vendor coordination and negotiation skills across various travel categories. - Strong project coordination and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. In addition, specialized knowledge in the following areas is essential: - Proficiency with travel platforms and hotel RFP tools, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues. - Strong background in TMC and Air categories in the APAC region. - Experience with vendor and category management, as well as advanced Excel skills. - Understanding of duty of care programs, traveler security practices, and regional/global travel considerations. - Proficiency in PowerPoint to craft clear updates for leadership.
