Lead SQL Server Developer

Role Overview: You will be joining our dynamic IT team as a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Database Administrator/SQL Server Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience. Your primary responsibility will be designing, implementing, and managing our organization's database systems. This role is a 100% individual contributor role. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software. - Design, implement, and maintain database structures. - Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning. - Monitor database performance and optimize as needed. - Implement and maintain database security measures, including user authentication and authorization. - Perform regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly. - Identify and resolve performance issues, optimizing queries and database performance. - Implement best practices for database performance and resource utilization. - Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly. - Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT professionals. - Stay current with SQL Server updates and patches. - Plan and execute database upgrades as necessary. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and implementation. - Work closely with system administrators and network engineers to address infrastructure-related issues. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator or similar role. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its various components. - Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.,
