Lead SQL Server Developer

As a SQL Server Database Administrator/SQL Server Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our organization's database systems. This position requires a 100% individual contributor role. - **Database Management:** - Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server software. - Design, implement, and maintain database structures. - Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and disaster recovery planning. - Monitor database performance and optimize as needed. - **Security:** - Implement and maintain database security measures, including user authentication and authorization. - Perform regular security audits and address vulnerabilities promptly. - **Performance Tuning:** - Identify and resolve performance issues, optimizing queries and database performance. - Implement best practices for database performance and resource utilization. - **Troubleshooting:** - Diagnose and resolve database related issues promptly. - Provide technical support and guidance to end users and other IT professionals. - **Upgrades And Patches:** - Stay current with SQL Server updates and patches. - Plan and execute database upgrades as necessary. - **Documentation:** - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. - **Collaboration:** - Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and implementation. - Work closely with system administrators and network engineers to address infrastructure-related issues.
