Lead Software Engineer - Java

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java, with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction and user experience.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot framework, and AWS environments.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Basic Knowledge on React would be an added advantage
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and platform teams.
