Lead Software Engineer (Java)

As a Lead Software Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the technical design, code quality, and solution design aspects while also mentoring team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading technical design discussions and maintaining high standards of code quality and solution design. - Developing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Vue.js. - Architecting and implementing microservices-based solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices. - Collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver robust solutions, including product managers and architects. - Mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and offering technical guidance. - Driving innovation by assessing new tools, frameworks, and practices to enhance development efficiency. - Serving as an architect for solutions that span multiple groups or disciplines. - Integrating, using, and providing feedback on products in development as part of your normal job responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role: - 9+ years of professional experience in software engineering. - B. Tech in Computer Science with a strong academic background. - Fluency in English. - Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and building scalable microservices. - Strong experience in SQL, RabbitMQ, and establishing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. - Deep understanding of system design and architectural patterns for high-availability systems. - Demonstrated leadership in technical design sessions, code reviews, and mentoring team members. - Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additionally, nice-to-have skills include familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenStack, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry, as well as front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js.
