Job Description

As a Lead Software Engineer for Financial Crime Solutions (Crypto), you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in the development and leadership of a powerful risk assessment tool called Crypto Secure. This tool aims to provide banks with enhanced visibility of crypto spend, transaction volumes, and AML risk exposure through a user-friendly dashboard. Your responsibilities will include leading technical execution and delivery by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, PostgresDB, Apache NiFi, Hadoop, Snowflake, and other modern technologies. You will also be involved in breaking down high-level requirements into technical solutions, driving technical decision-making, and ensuring alignment with architecture and security best practices. Additionally, you will mentor and guide the team, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Collaboration across teams will be essential as you partner with Product Managers and System Architects to align technical and business priorities, work closely with Quality Engineers and Business Analysts, and support project managers in managing technical dependencies. Furthermore, you will champion engineering excellence by advocating for clean, maintainable, and testable code, staying updated with industry trends, promoting DevOps and CI/CD best practices, and driving the adoption of accessibility, internationalization, and performance best practices. To excel in this role, you should have 8+ years of experience in developing enterprise-grade applications, strong full-stack experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, and relational databases, as well as knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms. Your leadership and collaboration skills, along with an ownership mentality, detail-oriented approach, and passion for innovation, will be key to your success.
