Job Description

Role Overview: As the Lead Cloud Software Engineer at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in driving the customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. Your passion for the customer experience journey, along with your highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and agile mindset, will be key assets in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Participating in the implementation of new systems - Developing strategic thinking and creating processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance effectiveness across teams - Being accountable for the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions - Defining requirements for new applications and customizations while adhering to standards, processes, and best practices - Planning and executing maintenance, upgrades, and migrations activities in different environments (Dev, Stage, Prod) - Designing resilient scalable infrastructure to avoid downtime and service interruptions - Building out infrastructure as code, standard system images, and application images in Docker - Overseeing and providing technical support to junior team members - Providing on-call coverage on a rotation basis - Managing medium-sized projects/initiatives - Designing and developing applications and system interfaces - Performing vendor-related activities - Demonstrating expertise in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Linux, and other related technologies Qualification Required: - Skills and experience in managing medium-sized projects/initiatives - Designing and developing applications, system interfaces, and complete software solutions - Proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS, Kops/Rancher/EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, Linux, cluster backup and restoration techniques, autoscaling Kubernetes nodes, RBAC configuration, and service mesh Additional Company Details: Join us at Mastercard to contribute to building a sustainable world that unlocks priceless possibilities for all through innovative cloud engineering solutions.,
