Description
As an integral part of DTCC's Information Technology group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. Your impact will be felt through the Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family, which focuses on functional testing, non-functional testing, test architecture, and enablement. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Preparing, maintaining, and completing manual test cases based on user stories, presenting results, and tracking defects to closure - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts - Reviewing test cases and automation approach with customers to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback - Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers, providing guidance, training, and support for their success - Collaborating with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues - Providing mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases - Developing a detailed understanding of the product being delivered and ensuring process compliance and associated documentation - Aligning risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk effectively Qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years of related experience - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Talents Needed for Success: - 7+ years of related experience - Hands-on experience in API/XML Testing and Selenium with Java - Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components - Experience in writing SQL queries - Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins - Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium - Experienced in Agile/Waterfall methodologies, onsite/offshore work model, and coordination - In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle and testing processes - Detailed understanding of different testing approaches such as smoke testing, black-box testing, and regression testing - Strong ability to work well with both business clients and technical teams, independently and collaboratively - Preferably from the Financial domain At DTCC, you will be a part of a dynamic and supportive team, working on innovative projects and receiving investments in your professional development.
