Lead SharePoint Developer (Modernization & Migration)

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced SharePoint Lead/SME to lead the modernization and migration of SharePoint 2016 on-premise environments to modern platforms, primarily .NET. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with SharePoint modernization and migration projects, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Assessment: Assess existing SharePoint 2016 on-premise environments and identify opportunities for modernization and migration.

Migration Strategy: Develop and implement migration strategies to .NET-based platforms (e.g., SharePoint Online, .NET Core).

Content Migration: Migrate content from SharePoint 2016 to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.

Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.

Required Skills

SharePoint Expertise: Strong proficiency in SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, and related technologies. Modernization and Migration: Experience with SharePoint modernization and migration projects, including content migration and platform upgrades.

.NET Development: Knowledge of .NET development, including C#, (link unavailable), and related technologies.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Office 365).

Collaboration Tools: Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).

Nice to Have:

SharePoint Certification: Certifications like MCSE: SharePoint or MCSA: SharePoint.

Experience with Migration Tools: Experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix).

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Education

Experience:

Minimum 8-10 years: Of experience in SharePoint development and administration, with at least 5 years of experience in modernization and migration projects.
