Lead Python Developer || 1 year contract || Immediate Joiner

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Python-based applications.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product.
  
• Drive architecture and solution design discussions for new components and enhancements.
  
• Implement and maintain data pipelines using

  Apache Airflow

  .
• Orchestrate and manage deployments on

  Kubernetes

  clusters.
• Integrate and monitor applications using the

  ELK

  stack.
• Build APIs using

  Flask

  ,

  Django

  , or

  FastAPI

  .
• Manage and execute

  database migrations

  , especially from

  MS SQL to open-source DBs

  such as

  Spark

  or

  ClickHouse

  .
• Lead efforts to

  refactor or migrate codebases

  , including

  Java-to-Python

  conversions or

  intra-Python framework transitions

  .
• Collaborate on initiatives involving

  Generative AI

  , contributing to proof-of-concepts or production-ready modules (preferred).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 68 years

  of hands-on experience in

  Python development

  .
• At least

  3 years

  of experience with:

• Airflow

  (data pipeline orchestration)

• Kubernetes

  (container orchestration)

• ELK Stack

  (logging and monitoring)

• Flask / Django / FastAPI

  (web frameworks)
• Strong experience with

  database migration

  , especially from

  MS SQL to Spark/ClickHouse

  or other open-source DBs.
• Experience in

  code migration

  , particularly:
• From

  Java to Python

• Between Python frameworks
  
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and application performance optimization.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience or exposure to

  Generative AI

  technologies and models.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  
• Experience working in agile development environments.
