Description
You will be part of the Power & Signal Business Unit (PSBU) in Molex, offering innovative solutions in design and development of cable assemblies and electronic solutions. Your role will involve leading a team of project engineers to deliver on commitments by exercising Product Development Process (PDP) and ensuring compliance with customers" requirements. You will play a key role in providing Cross Functional leadership to achieve YOY New Product revenue goals and growth expectations for the (BU) & Division. Collaboration with stakeholders from different regions and functions will be crucial to ensure alignment with global project management standards and best practices. As a Project Management lead, you will supervise and lead a team of project engineers, foster a collaborative team environment, ensure adherence to project management processes, provide performance feedback, manage resources effectively, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise and lead a team of project engineers, providing direction, support, and mentorship - Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement - Ensure adherence to established project management processes, methodologies, and best practices - Provide performance feedback and conduct evaluations for project engineers - Serve as a point of escalation for project issues, facilitating resolution and mitigating risks - Manage resources effectively to optimize project performance and meet milestones - Ensure compliance with all Molex policies & procedures - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management **Qualifications Required:** - Graduation in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or related field - 8+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role - Understanding of the entire PLM cycle including product design, development, validation, and part qualification - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and achieve project goals - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Collaborative attitude with a focus on building strong working relationships If you have working knowledge in PLM - Teamcenter, PMP Certification, knowledge of ISO/TS & VDA requirements, experience in wiring harness manufacturing process, or have worked in a diverse and multicultural environment, it will put you ahead in this role.
