Lead Product Owner

As a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner with a strong foundation in Agile practices, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), you will play a key role in defining product requirements, translating business needs into user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Your familiarity with Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin/JBehave syntax, coupled with hands-on experience in tools like JIRA and Confluence, is essential for success in this role. Your responsibilities will include owning and maintaining the product backlog to ensure clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Facilitating and participating in Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives will be part of your routine. Supporting the team in following BDD practices and collaborating with QA and development teams to ensure user stories meet the Definition of Done (DoD) are also crucial aspects of your role. In addition, you will serve as the voice of the customer in technical discussions, ensuring that the product meets user needs and business goals. Tracking progress using JIRA, maintaining clear and concise documentation in Confluence, and supporting PI Planning and other SAFe activities to align team deliverables with program-level priorities will be part of your regular tasks. To excel in this position, you must possess certification in Product Ownership and/or Business Analysis (e.g., CSPO, PSPO, CBAP), a solid understanding of Agile principles and iterative/incremental development methodologies, and proficiency in writing BDD scenarios using Gherkin/JBehave syntax. Experience using Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence for backlog and documentation management, familiarity with the SAFe framework, and experience working in large Agile environments are also required. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as a strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, are essential for success in this role. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as good communication and interpersonal skills are highly valued in this position. Being fit for customer location placement is also an important consideration for this role.,
