As a Lead Product Designer at Innovaccer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our product offerings and driving design excellence across the organization. Youll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and technical writers to deliver high-quality user experiences while contributing to Innovaccers rapid growth in the healthcare sector. Youll lead the vision for your product(s) in partnership with product and engineering counterparts, ensuring that all Innovaccer products work together seamlessly.
Beyond design execution, you will operationalize and improve design processes, proactively managing team workflows and optimizing tools to ensure efficiency and quality. Youll also be responsible for mentoring and fostering team growth, whether directly managing designers or strategically leading your colleagues through complex design challenges. You'll drive a culture of creativity and strategic thinking, ensuring the team aligns with business goals while maintaining a user-centric approach.

You will provide strong design direction and encourage the creative use of design principles to deliver top-tier results consistently. A Day in the life
- Drive the product vision in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, defining how Innovaccers products integrate and function cohesively.
- Shape your teams goals and roadmap by providing a user-centered perspective and ensuring the pursuit of measurable and impactful objectives.
- Optimize and streamline design processes by managing team operations and tools, reducing rework, and improving the quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate across departments with Customer Innovation, Marketing, and Product to ensure alignment and evangelize user goals.
- Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback, guiding the team through complex design challenges.
- Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to high standards.
- Champion a data-driven approach, leveraging metrics to make informed design decisions and track progress toward business and user experience goals.
- Ensure collaboration between teams, actively communicating your teams goals and identifying opportunities for cross-functional projects.
What You Need
- 6+ years of product design experience, with a proven track record of delivering impactful design solutions for web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
- At least 1 year of experience managing or leading a design team, providing mentorship and fostering growth (depending on the roles scope).
- A Bachelors degree in design, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (a masters degree is preferred).
- Expertise in design processes, tools, and principles, with proficiency in Figma, and product management tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to advocate for user experience within cross-functional, agile teams.
- Familiarity with software development processes and agile methodologies to support effective collaboration with engineers.
Preferred Experience :
- U.S. Healthcare industry knowledge and expertise
- Experience designing both B2B, B2C, and SaaS products and experiences
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field, postgraduate degree preferred for people manager roles or equivalent professional experience
- Experience using A.I. tools and a strong understanding of A.I. user experiences
