Job Description

The purpose of the Reference Architecture and Design Team is to practically implement network solutions, considering various components such as topology, device selection, IP addressing, security, redundancy, and failover mechanisms. This team is responsible for investigating, testing, and deploying new technologies to align with business requirements. Additionally, they provide consultative support to internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels. As the Lead, Platform Architect, your role involves overseeing network design at both high and low levels, architecture, and implementation. You will be responsible for documentation and ensuring the security infrastructure solutions, including firewalls and IDS/IPS. Furthermore, your focus will be on Data Center-centric design incorporating automation and orchestration where feasible. To excel in this role, you should have experience in analyzing, testing, and implementing new technology solutions. Problem analysis, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving are key skills required. Experience in deploying applications or virtual infrastructure in the cloud, working on scalable global network designs, and collaborating on cross-functional teams for VOIP/LAN QoS solutions are also essential. In this position, you will provide strategic technical direction for complex network projects, manage data center and security applications, and research innovative solutions for global unified network systems. You will also support automation tools for Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) processes and provide fourth-level support for network operations globally. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in network engineering, design, and architecture across LAN/WAN, firewalls, wireless, security, VOIP, QoS, and encryption technologies. Proficiency in TCP/IP protocols, IPV6 addressing, and firewall technologies such as Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto is required. Additionally, knowledge of Arista Spine and Leaf deployment, Cisco's product portfolio, network diagnostics, and security technologies is essential. Desirable capabilities include strong communication skills, customer support proficiency, self-motivation, and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates with Cisco certifications like CCNP or CCDP, or security certifications such as SSCP or CISSP are preferred. Experience in Software Defined Networking, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity strategies, and web application technologies is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
