The Pharmacy Department at NHS Borders is seeking an experienced and motivated pharmacist to lead on delivery of Pharmacy Education and Training.The post is available as a full-time position with ~50% dedicated to Education and Training and ~50% dedicated to clinical practice. There are opportunities to work in clinical practice in either primary or secondary care settings, depending on experience of the successful candidate. However, applications are also welcomed from those seeking a part time position. Some hybrid working is also available with this post.With newly qualified pharmacists registering as prescribers from 2025-2026, this is an exciting time to be part of the transformation of the pharmacy workforce with a key responsibility to support staff through this transition and onwards to advanced practice.Responsibilities include mentoring and supervising others, but we are also keen to support the successful candidate with their own development as an autonomous practitioner.Located in the South East corner of Scotland, the beautiful Scottish Borders region offers excellent schooling and affordable housing, but with large cities still within easy reach if required.
