Job Summary:

Lead Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise nursing staff in
OT, OP, Labour & NICU
departments.
Ensure
quality patient care
, infection control, and compliance with hospital protocols.
Plan and allocate nursing resources and prepare shift schedules.
Coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, pediatricians, and obstetricians for smooth operations.
Conduct
staff training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
.
Maintain accurate
patient records and departmental reports
.
Monitor equipment, supplies, and ensure readiness for emergency cases.
Support
NABH/JCI accreditation
processes and quality initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Clinical expertise in
maternity, labour, NICU, and OT
settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergencies and critical situations confidently.
Organizational and decision-making skills with focus on patient safety.

Qualifications & Experience:

ANM, DGNM, B.Sc., or M.Sc. Nursing
with valid registration from the
Nursing Council
.
7 - 12 years of nursing experience
with
3 - 5 years in a supervisory or lead role
.
Experience in
maternity or fertility hospitals
preferred.
Knowledge of
NABH/JCI accreditation
is an advantage.
