Job Description

Role : Lead New Product Development Location : Thane Experience : 10+ years Department- Category (Bath & Bed) Key Responsibilities: 1. Category & Product Management Drive end-to-end category strategy and execution for the Bath and Bed product segments. Lead product development from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with brand, quality, and cost parameters. Conduct regular performance reviews and range optimization based on sales, margin, and consumer feedback. 2. New Product Development Manage the full order development cycle including market research, assortment planning, sampling, pricing and specifications setting up. Pricing for the product to meet Gross Margin targets. Coordinate with outsourcing and plant team to ensure seamless execution for product development. 3. Season launch Own entire season launch process. Ensure to prepare and adhere to TNA for season launch. Collaborate with sales team to understand market requirement. Incorporate requirement in season planning. Timely launch of the season. Product training and customer presentation deck preparation. 4. Market & Trend Analysis Analyze consumer trends, competitor products, and global textile innovations to identify opportunities and improve product offerings. Support product positioning, pricing, and promotional decisions with data-driven insights. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Merchandising, or related field. 10+ years of experience in home textile product/category management (Bath and/or Bed category is mandatory). Strong understanding of textile product development, manufacturing processes, and raw materials. Analytical mindset to understand market trends Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and external partners. Proficient in MS Excel, PLM/ERP systems, and retail merchandising tools.
