Lead Java Engineer

As a Lead Java Engineer based in Chennai (Navalur OMR), you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications, particularly focusing on high-volume, low-latency, and mission-critical systems. Your expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, MBC, and Oracle will be crucial in successfully carrying out your responsibilities. Your core Java skills will be put to use as you demonstrate proficiency in Core Java and J2EE, coupled with a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Experience with Java Build tools such as Maven and Gradle will be essential, alongside knowledge of RESTful APIs and cache reloading. In the realm of Spring Framework, your familiarity with Spring MVC framework and Configuration Management using Bitbucket will play a pivotal role. Your proficiency in using Git for version control, coupled with experience in managing repositories, branches, and pull requests through Bitbucket will be highly valuable. Understanding Git workflows like Gitflow and feature branching will be expected, along with knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Having exposure to Microservices architecture will be considered an added advantage, while your understanding of Relational Databases such as Oracle and EDB Postgres, coupled with SQL query optimization and fine-tuning skills, will be crucial for database management. Your soft skills, including strong analytical abilities, good understanding of design patterns, and effective technical documentation skills, will be highly beneficial in this role.
