Lead Java Application Developer

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role where you will participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and documenting software while closely collaborating with Program Management and Quality Control teams to ensure quality deliverables within project schedules. You will utilize your in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems, evaluate business and system processes, and provide solutions. Additionally, you will identify issues, analyze information, and recommend and implement solutions. As a Senior Programmer Analyst, you will utilize your expertise in programming languages to create design specifications and serve as an advisor to new or lower-level analysts. You will leverage your knowledge of applications development procedures to identify necessary system enhancements and provide support to users, clients, and technology groups. You will operate with a limited level of direct supervision, demonstrating independence of judgment and autonomy. Your role will involve analyzing applications for vulnerabilities, conducting testing and debugging, and resolving issues using your technical experience and guided by precedents. You will also act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members. Monitoring and controlling all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, are crucial aspects of this role. You will also provide user and operational support for applications to business users while assessing risks and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Qualifications: - 8-12 years of programming/development experience in Java Microservices - Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Platforms, CI/CD, and DevOps practices - Proficiency in Java (Java 11/17+), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture - Clear and concise communication skills - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Note: This job description is a high-level overview of the role, and additional job-related duties may be assigned as needed.,
