Lead - IT Architecture

As a Lead Engineer within the Global Customer Data Department at StoneX, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with other technology leads to deliver ongoing data projects. Your responsibilities will include contributing to and leading team deliverables, understanding system protocols and data flows, engaging with other team leads to implement data management programs, and focusing on innovation to implement data pipelines for structured and unstructured data. You will need a strong understanding of Enterprise architecture patterns, Object-Oriented & Service-Oriented principles, design patterns, and industry best practices. With 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and/or Production Support across large enterprises, and 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or Software Development in the capital markets/trading industry, you will be well-equipped for this role. Your role will also involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of junior data team members, participating in scrum and sprint rituals, and working towards improving the data quality of StoneX's strategic data assets. Additionally, you will collaborate with other leads to define key data domains and attributes to standardize the data model across the global enterprise. To be successful in this role, you should have experience leading a small team of technical performers, facilitating discussions and resolving issues across diverse business and IT stakeholders, and a foundation knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Designing for performance. Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of PySpark, as well as experience with database technologies like MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, and key-value/document databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, will be beneficial. Overall, your ability to work and lead in an Agile methodology environment, excellent communication skills, and the capability to extract critical concepts from business requirements and transform them into technical tasks will be essential for this position.,
