Lead Industrial Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead

  industrial design

  activities for embedded and electro-mechanical products from concept to production.
• Collaborate with

  hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams

  to ensure design feasibility and seamless system integration.
• Create

  concept sketches, 3D CAD models, and photorealistic renders

  to visualize and refine product forms.
• Design

  enclosures

  accommodating PCBs, connectors, sensors, displays, and batteries while meeting EMC/IP standards.
• Define

  materials, textures, and surface finishes

  suitable for product environment (consumer, industrial, or automotive).
• Ensure compliance with

  EMI/EMC, IP65IP68, and safety regulations

  .
• Drive

  design reviews

  , mentor junior designers, and uphold design and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with suppliers for

  tooling, prototyping, and mass production (DFM/DFA)

  .
• Coordinate with CMF teams on

  color, material, and finish development

  to align with brand design language.

Required Qualifications:

• Good experience in

  industrial/product design

  for

  embedded or electro-mechanical products

  .
• Expertise in

  SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA

  for 3D CAD and

  KeyShot/Blender

  for rendering.
• Proven experience designing

  injection-molded, die-cast, and sheet-metal enclosures

  .
• Strong understanding of

  thermal design, sealing, and environmental protection (IP65IP68)

  .
• Familiarity with

  prototype validation, mechanical testing, and NPI

  processes.
• Good understanding of

  manufacturing constraints, surface finishes, and tolerance stack-up analysis

  .

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  IoT, smart devices, or industrial controllers

  .
• Knowledge of

  sustainable materials

  and eco-friendly design practices.
• Exposure to

  CE, UL, RoHS, and REACH

  compliance.
• Familiarity with

  simulation tools

  (Ansys, SolidWorks Simulation, Flow Simulation).
• Collaboration with

  CMF and brand design teams
