Lead I - Software Testing- Functional Testing

You are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team at Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Experience in PowerCurve products will be an added advantage. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, reporting the status, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability. As a Senior Manual QA Engineer, your key responsibilities will involve analyzing requirements and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases, executing test cases across web and API platforms, identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, collaborating closely with developers, solution advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle, performing regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, participating in planning and daily stand-ups, providing mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members, and continuously improving QA processes while contributing to test documentation and the knowledge base. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-7 years of experience in software testing, a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies, strong experience in API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger, experience in SQL, concepts in automation, familiarity in running automation scripts, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
