Lead I - Full stack - React, Node, Typescript

As a Senior Software Engineer within the enterprise product domain at UST, you will collaborate closely with your cross-functional team to design and implement new features and products. Your role will involve bringing ideas, energy, and leadership to the table as part of a world-class engineering function in the retail technology space. Your primary responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software to delight customers - Working with users and stakeholders to understand and deliver value through the product - Leading design, code, and test reviews - Practicing DevOps, testing, and releasing software continuously - Integrating software with monitoring, observability, and support tools - Leading, coaching, and mentoring other engineers - Participating in Agile methodologies to adapt and continuously improve team processes - Sharing feedback and seeking opportunities to improve software quality - Influencing positive change and innovation through strong technical aptitude - Troubleshooting and resolving issues throughout the product life cycle - Researching new technologies that can be of use Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in senior software development roles - Extensive exposure to Agile delivery methodologies - Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions - Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, React.js, Redux, Redux-Saga, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redis, DocumentDB, AWS, Jest, Mocha, Chai, CI/CD practices, Terraform, GitLab - Experience in mentoring and supporting engineering colleagues within co-located or distributed team environments - Comfortable operating autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic environments - Excellent command of English (written and spoken) About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with over 30,000 employees in 30 countries.
