Job Description

Role Proficiency

Develop software applications creatively by selecting the right technical options to optimize development, maintenance, and performance. Use design patterns, proven solutions, and ensure quality work across team activities.

Outputs Expected

Knowledge Examples:

  • Strong understanding of software programs and modules.
  • Skilled in functional and technical design.
  • Proficient in multiple programming languages.
  • Knowledge of databases, operating systems, and platforms.
  • Familiar with SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and RAD methodologies.
  • Experience with IDEs, modelling languages, and interface definitions.
  • Deep understanding of customer domain and sub-domains.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience:

    5+ years in senior software development roles covering the full software development lifecycle.

  • Methodology:

    Strong understanding of Agile and iterative development practices.

  • Technical Design:

    Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

  • Communication:

    Excellent at explaining complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Frontend:

    Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS (cross-browser and performance), React.js, Redux, and Redux-Saga.

  • Backend:

    Strong in Node.js, RESTful API design, and TypeScript/JavaScript.

  • Databases:

    Familiar with Redis (for caching and session management) and Document DB or other NoSQL databases.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure:

    Experience with AWS, especially EKS and VM environments; Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

  • Testing & CI/CD:

    Skilled in Jest, Mocha, Chai; experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab automation.
