Job Description

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flows. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to coding standards, leading technical discussions, and collaborating with architects, business analysts, and product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions. You will drive development across multiple Salesforce clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, while guiding junior developers in implementing Lightning pages, Dynamic Forms, and Flows. Additionally, you will manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and native Salesforce tools, and support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. You will be expected to stay up to date with Salesforce releases and enhancements, providing recommendations for feature adoption. Acting as a point of contact for stakeholder communication and offshore/onshore coordination, you will lead quality assurance efforts through proper testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices. Troubleshooting and debugging complex Salesforce issues, as well as optimizing performance, will also be a part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will implement and enforce Salesforce development lifecycle and release management best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with expertise in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flows, and trigger frameworks. Strong experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware is essential, along with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, sharing/security rules, and governor limits. Familiarity with DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or equivalent for CI/CD, as well as experience with version control systems like Git, is required. An Agile/Scrum background, effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and prior leadership experience in mentoring or leading development teams are also key requirements. Preferred skills for this role include knowledge of Data Cloud and Agentforce, experience in developing scalable and reusable components, and exposure to Salesforce AI features, analytics, and performance optimization. Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce App Builder are mandatory, while having a Platform Developer II certification is preferred. Additionally, certifications like Salesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant, DevOps Engineer, and AI Associate / Data Cloud / Agentforce Specialist are considered good to have.
