Lead Hardware Design Engineer

As an experienced Embedded Hardware Design Engineer focusing on industrial applications, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end hardware design process for industrial IoT applications. This includes designing multi-layer PCBs with high-speed digital interfaces, mixed-signal circuits, and power management, as well as developing thermal management solutions for systems operating in extreme temperatures ranging from -40C to +85C. Ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and obtaining regulatory certifications such as FCC, CE, and IC will be essential parts of your role. You will also be tasked with architecting hardware solutions for IoT sensors, gateways, and edge computing devices, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with firmware and software teams. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded hardware design within industrial settings. A deep understanding of various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, WiFi, LoRaWAN, Modbus, and BLE 5.0 & Above is required. Your expertise should extend to power electronics, including switch-mode power supplies and battery management. Experience in environmental testing and designing ruggedized solutions for industrial environments will be advantageous. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is expected.
