Lead - Full Stack

The role of a Tech/Dev Manager at Standard Chartered involves being responsible for providing solutions for business requirements in the CSA application using existing components and frameworks. You will be in charge of delivering CSA functional/technical requirements and leading developers to ensure quality deliverables in the CSA application. Your strategic responsibilities include participating in solution discussions from a client experience and functional deliverables perspective, as well as managing developers to achieve high-quality CSA deliverables. You will also be responsible for enhancing the development processes of the CSA application and advising on tools to improve the development process. Ensuring adherence to Group Risk management framework and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate risks during functional deliverables are key aspects of risk management. Additionally, you will need to be aware of Group standards and policies, providing guidance to developers on compliance matters. As a Tech/Dev Manager, you should possess a professional degree in Software Engineering and have experience in understanding functional requirements, designing functionality using use-case and sequence diagrams, contributing to product design, and mentoring junior associates. Experience in implementing scalable web applications with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, and proficiency in Java/OCP/Oracle for web programming are essential. Familiarity with front end programming using React JS and the ability to mentor others in technical upscaling are also required qualities for this role.
