You are applying for the role of Lead Full Stack - MERN at Ryuk Labs in Chennai. As the Lead Full Stack Tech, your role involves leading a team of full stack developers, guiding architectural decisions, and implementing end-to-end production-grade solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. You will drive technical strategy, participate in GTM planning, conduct code reviews, and ensure maintainability across projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers, guiding architectural decisions and best practices. - Design and implement end-to-end production-grade solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. - Drive technical strategy, technology selection, and implementation plans in collaboration with product and business teams. - Participate in GTM planning, providing technical insights for product launches and integrations. - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure maintainability across projects. Required Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in full stack development with hands-on production deployments. - Strong React.js + TypeScript expertise. - Advanced Node.js (Express.js / NestJS) backend skills with API design and architecture experience. - Deep understanding of MongoDB including schema design, query optimization, and indexing strategies. - Proven experience with JWT/OAuth authentication and secure token management. - Strong debugging, error handling, and performance tuning skills for both frontend and backend. - Experience managing environment variables securely across frontend and backend. - Prior startup experience with multi-company exposure, delivering production-ready products. - Solid experience with Git, code reviews, and collaboration workflows. Required Tech Stack: - Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, modern state/data libraries (Redux, Zustand, React Query, SWR). - Backend: Node.js, MongoDB Additional Qualifications (Good-to-Have): - Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering (SSR). - Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time features. - Devops and Containerization & orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
