As a Lead Front-end Engineer at Qualys, you will be responsible for creating modern, intuitive, data-driven, progressive webapps and mobile apps for multiple SaaS products. Your passion for front-end technologies will be pivotal in defining the customer experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with a UX/UI designer and other team members to lead, design, prototype, and build technical projects across the organization. - Mentor and coach other frontend engineers. - Develop proof of concepts and evaluate new technologies. - Stay updated on industry trends, drive technical innovations, and provide technical direction within the organization. - Champion best practices for scalability, reliability, and performance optimizations. - Ensure customer delight by collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering team to understand product requirements and workflows. **Qualifications:** - 7+ years of front-end development experience. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with excellent understanding of browser DOM. - Strong JavaScript skills with expertise in lexical scoping, closures, and OO JavaScript. Familiarity with frameworks like ReactJS. - Experience in designing, building, and operating high-performance, scalable front-end systems. - Proficient in client-side technologies, modern frameworks, and building responsive UI. - Skilled in debugging and testing tools for UI optimization. - Knowledge of accessibility standards, front-end security best practices, and building Progressive Web Apps. - Familiarity with modern coding and design practices such as Clean Code, SOLID principles, and TDD. - Understanding of back-end technologies and their integration with front-end systems.
