Lead Engineer (MEAN or MERN)

You are a highly skilled Lead Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in MEAN or MERN Stack development and a strong background in database management. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the technical direction of our core product, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to develop features and solutions that align with the company's vision. Your key responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions for a product-based environment. You will work with product teams to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and optimize database systems (preferably MongoDB, but also familiar with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases) to ensure fast data retrieval and storage. As a technical leader, you will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications, and implementing best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment processes. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, guide team members, and mentor junior developers to support their growth. Collaboration with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud will also be part of your responsibilities.
