LEAD ENGINEER- CIVIL & STRUCTURAL

Role Overview: As a Lead Engineer in Civil & Structural discipline, you will be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of engineering practices, workflows, and procedures. You will consult with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Project Management Teams, control key parameters, and contribute to the optimization of engineering practices. Your role will involve solving problems, coordinating training programs, and staying updated with new trends in the field. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the development and implementation of engineering practices, workflows, and procedures - Recommend and implement resulting specifications and procedures - Monitor workflow and participate in project reviews - Control key parameters, benchmarks, and efficiency figures for estimating material and man-hours - Contribute to the optimization of engineering practices based on collected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Coordinate and participate in training programs for Engineers and Designers - Ensure compliance with Discipline Manual and Job Manual during project execution - Manage technical procurement activities for Civil & Structural items as per contract - Review and approve Vendor documents applicable for the Discipline - Attend to inspections as required and provide site assistance through replying to queries - Participate in the development of technical standards, specifications, and design criteria - Contribute to the implementation of safety relevant principles, standards, and procedures - Execute applicable scope of work in compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements - Provide input to lessons learnt process and best engineering practices - Contribute to the development and implementation of competitive solutions - Apply technical knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry innovations - Support mentoring and coaching activities within the department - Lead and coordinate C&S Engineering for Projects - Prepare TRS for soil and topographical studies - Analyze and design various types of foundations and structures - Manage quantities during the project and support material procurement - Optimize structure design and identify cost optimization opportunities - Utilize tools such as STAAD Pro, Auto-CAD, and MS Office effectively Qualifications Required: - Education: MTech / ME, BTech / BE in Civil and Structural discipline - Work Experience: Minimum 12 years in EPC or Detail design engineering company - Language: Fluent in English Additional Company Details: The company focuses on executing projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, and Petrochemicals.
