Job Description

As an Embedded Software Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware applications through the product design development process. This includes requirements gathering, architecture and low-level design, coding, debugging, testing, release, and maintenance. You will effectively communicate with customers (both internal and external), project managers, and team members in a cross-functional international environment. The firmware applications you will be working on could be related to products based on low power microcontrollers, high-end processors, RTOS, or bare metal. **Key Responsibilities:** - Interact with cross-functional teams to develop detailed requirements, architecture, and design. - Firmware development for Controller-based platforms supporting lifestyle products. - Evaluate available BSP and third-party software components to identify gaps and development needs. - Create or integrate third-party tools for test automation and system integration. - Develop, modify, and debug system scripts, driver level, or user-level software. - Participate in board bring-up, debug, and development of new hardware. - Review and provide recommendations for system test plan content, execution, and tools. - Debug issues across all software stack levels to meet requirements. - Unit-test code for robustness and general reliability. - Involve in technical and functional documentation. - Follow the company's product development lifecycle process and procedures. **Qualifications Required:** - B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers with relevant experience. - 8-10 years of industry experience in Controller-based systems and embedded software at scripting, system software, driver, middleware, and user levels. - Familiarity with leading-edge SoCs and their hardware and software support. - Experience integrating and debugging software stacks for USB, Display, Touch Panel, Sensors, WLAN, Bluetooth, WiFi. - Experience configuring and building Embedded BSP from source components. - Hands-on knowledge of test tools for wireless systems in embedded devices. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing appropriate documentation and interacting with other engineering disciplines. - Results-oriented work ethic and the ability to work effectively.,
