Lead Embedded Engineer

As a Lead Embedded Engineer at Discrete Circuits Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the design and development of high-precision, safety-critical systems for next-generation devices. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the complete embedded systems development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, coding, testing, and validation. - Developing firmware for microcontrollers, processors, and embedded platforms such as ARM, STM32, PIC, etc. - Designing and integrating sensor interfaces, communication protocols, and hardware driver modules. - Collaborating closely with electrical, power electronics, and mechanical teams for seamless system integration. - Ensuring compliance with medical device safety and quality standards like IEC 60601, ISO 13485, ISO 14971. - Developing real-time algorithms, control logic, and system diagnostics for medical equipment. - Conducting code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and documentation following design control processes. - Mentoring junior engineers and supporting cross-functional engineering activities. Your technical skills should include: - Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++, RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX), and firmware design. - Expertise in microcontroller architecture (ARM Cortex, DSPs, Microchip, TI). - Hands-on experience with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, BLE). - Familiarity with digital/analog hardware, schematics, and debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes). - Understanding of safety-critical embedded systems, watchdogs, redundancy, and fail-safe mechanisms. - Experience with medical device standards and design controls (IEC 60601, ISO 13485). - Knowledge of version control and CI tools (Git, Jenkins, SVN).
