About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Lead DevOps / Infrastructure Lead to join our Platform Engineering team. This role is critical to building a reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure backbone for Uniqodes products. You will be responsible for owning and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), automating deployments, enforcing security best practices, and enhancing monitoring and alerting systems.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, security, and product teams to define, implement, and evangelize infrastructure best practices across the organization.
Key Focus Areas: Own and enhance our CI/CD pipeline and deployment workflows for speed, reliability, and rollback safety. Architect, manage, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability. transition to Kubernetes (EKS) and establish a mature container orchestration environment. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Pulumi. Define and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch. Establish and enforce cloud security best practices including vulnerability scanning, IAM hardening, and secrets management. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in infrastructure or deployment processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide clear and reusable deployment playbooks and runbooks Define SLAs and create dashboards and alerts to monitor infrastructure health and performance. of cloud infrastructure, proactively identifying areas to optimize usage and reduce spend. and postmortems, and drive improvements to infrastructure reliability and transparency. Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and trends in DevOps and SRE. 6 - 10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
Strong experience in managing production-grade infrastructure on Proficiency in managing and configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and container orchestration best practices. Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation. Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and their operational use. Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and vulnerability management cost optimization strategies in AWS (e.g., spot instances, reserved instances, storage class tuning). Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, Go). Ability to document and communicate complex architectures in a clear, simple manner. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to mentor other engineers. Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have): Experience with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack. Familiarity with SOC2, ISO27001 or other security frameworks. Exposure to SRE practices and concepts like SLOs/SLIs. Experience with serverless infrastructure (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway). Contributions to open-source DevOps tools or infrastructure frameworks. What s in it for You? -
