Lead Database Developer

You should have at least 8 years of practical experience in SQL development, focusing on query optimization and performance tuning. Your expertise should also include working with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure ADF, Databricks, Snowflake (or similar), as well as relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle. A solid grasp of data warehousing principles, data modeling, indexing strategies, and query execution plans is essential for this role. You should be adept at writing efficient stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions for managing large datasets. Experience in handling both structured and semi-structured data formats like CSV, JSON, XML, and Parquet is also required. Your responsibilities will involve data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure high data quality standards are maintained. Familiarity with real-time and batch data processing methods is expected. It would be beneficial if you have prior exposure to Azure/Other Data Engineering tools (ADF, Azure SQL, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake), Python, Spark, NoSQL databases, and reporting platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
