Lead Controls Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for independently handling automation projects involving PLC, HMI, and Robotics systems to ensure efficient design, programming, integration, and commissioning that meet Effica's performance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop PLC, HMI, and robotic programs using platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, FANUC, ABB, etc. - Perform tasks like robot calibration, vision setup, welding integration, and motion control programming. - Execute installation, wiring, and commissioning of automation systems on-site. - Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams for seamless system integration. - Create control schematics, I/O lists, sequence diagrams, and other relevant documentation. - Assist in customer FAT, SAT, and training activities. - Identify and troubleshoot on-site electrical or programming issues. - Implement automation best practices and ensure project documentation is up to date. - Drive productivity and quality improvements in ongoing projects. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in robotic programming and PLC logic. - Ability to effectively manage project timelines, client communication, and on-site execution. - Willingness to travel for commissioning and customer support. - Demonstrate a mindset focused on continuous learning, ownership, and innovation.
