Lead Cloud Infra- GCP

Role Overview

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.
• Engage with clients to understand technical and business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and performance requirements while optimizing cost.

Infrastructure Architecture & Cloud Engineering

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Implement robust access control using IAM roles, policies, and least-privilege principles.
• Design secure identity and access patterns, including OAuth2-based flows and dynamic IAM role mapping.
• Support deployment of Lambda functions and cloud-managed services.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Utilize Kubernetes deployment tools such as Helm/Kustomize for container orchestration.
• Integrate GitOps tools like ArgoCD for automated deployments and environment management.

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Cloud Build, Harness, etc.
• Focus on rolling deployments, canary releases, blue/green deployments, and observability of pipeline states.
• Apply security, audit, and compliance best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and collaborate with cloud vendors for reliability and roadmap alignment.
• Plan and execute zero-disruption migrations.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements proactively.

Leadership & Client Engagement

• Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to engineers.
• Lead agile ceremonies, project planning, and backlog management with Service Delivery Leads.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, offering technical expertise and solutions for clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or similar roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / AWS CDK).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, and ArgoCD.
• Deep understanding of enterprise IAM, OAuth2, and OIDC-based authentication.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, git workflows, and deployment strategies.
• Experience with security, audit, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and team-building.
• Client engagement experience and ability to manage project planning.
